Who is it for

Professionals that want to find new creative ways to focus

There is a lot of debate on whether listening to music can boost or impair your focus. At Triggers, we are experts on effective idea generation and believe that music can significantly enhance creativity in this area. As quoted in an article in TIME that talks about a PLOS ONE paper about the subject (written by Simone M. Ritter and Sam Ferfuson)

“[...] the stimulating nature of lively music somehow energizes the brain in ways that promote a “flexible thinking style,” which leads to unconventional or innovative ideas.”

However, different types of music enhance different ways of working and helps us be more creative by:

Lifting your mood

According to your brain (and to your specific taste) music can make you feel certain things and by carefully choosing your tunes.

Increasing your focus

If you choose correctly it has the ability to create a unique state of mind that increases concentration mode.

Sparking inspiration

It becomes a type of stimulation that can boost your working session.

At the end of the day It’s all about identifying what type of work allows you to get the most out!  That’s why we are so excited to be developing a series of playlists on our Spotify that aims to increase your creativity in different settings so you can get the most out of your work. So far we have 4 - we publish them every so often on our social media (so look out!)
